About Us

Maylandsea Primary School is a welcoming and inclusive primary school committed to ensuring that every child reaches their full potential. We are excited to open our brand new dedicated Additional Resource Provision (ARP) which will support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism and complex cognition and learning needs.

The Role
  • Provide individual and small-group support for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Support pupils' social, emotional and communication development.
  • Help implement behaviour and learning strategies in a positive and supportive manner.
  • Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, therapists and parents to ensure consistent support.
About You
  • Has experience of supporting children with special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
  • Is patient, adaptable and committed to inclusive education.
  • Has strong communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Is willing to undertake relevant training to support pupils effectively.
  • Brings energy, empathy and resilience to the role.
