Job summary

A local educational institution is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to promote pupil independence and support educational progress. Conisbrough Ivanhoe Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a SEN Learning Support Assistant.

We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in SEND, Early Years and Supporting Teaching & Learning with a high level of BSL skills.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Can work with class teachers to raise the progress and attainment of pupils
  • Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
  • Is able to work within classes, one to one and with small groups of children
  • Has previous experience of working in education, early years is preferred but not essential
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare Studies
