Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Northern Ireland seeks Medical Officers for self-employed roles offering weekday, weekend, and on-call sessions. Candidates should have strong clinical knowledge, full GMC registration, and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience. The position involves working collaboratively within a Multi-Disciplinary Team to ensure optimal patient care in palliative medicine. Full training is provided if needed, with ongoing recruitment and interviews.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate initiative and be pro-active.
• Experience in Palliative Medicine or Oncology is ideal but not essential.
• Will undertake an Enhanced Disclosure through Access NI.

Responsibilities

• Plan patient's daily treatment to control symptoms.
• Maximise the quality of the patient’s stay.
• Work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team providing specialist palliative care.
