Job Description

As an Associate in the Security Finance team at State Street, you will play a crucial role in the investment banking sector by understanding the Principal lending business and having experience in the Corporate Action process. Your responsibilities will involve processing high volumes of Corporate Action events daily, executing cash movements, interacting with traders and counterparts, confirming money movements, reviewing contracts, and resolving counterparty issues promptly. You will also be analyzing operational risks, recommending procedural changes, and providing critical reports to relevant parties.

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong knowledge of Agency/Principal Security lending business, Capital markets, and Equities. Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills are crucial. Being deadline and detail-oriented, having advanced knowledge of MS Excel, and being flexible to work in the US shift (6:30 PM - 3:30 AM IST) are essential requirements. The ideal candidate will have a University degree in Business majoring in Accounting, Finance, or other Financial-related programs, with at least 1+ years of experience in Processing Corporate Actions and Trade Settlements in NA/EMEA markets. Knowledge of Investment Banking, Agency/Principal Lending, Custodial Services, and Financial Markets is a must. Certifications like NSE Certification in Financial Markets (NCFM) or NSE Certified Capital Market Professional (NCCMP) would be advantageous. Exposure to Equilend, Prium, MCH, and DTC is considered a good-to-have secondary skill.

You will be working the shift timing of 6:30 PM - 3:30 AM at the work location in Mumbai.
