# Section CoordinatorAn opportunity has arisen to join a world-leading centre of excellence: Section Coordinator, Italian and Slavonic Studies in Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics.The Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics (MMLL), a global leader in language and linguistics teaching and research, is searching for a proactive and highly organised Coordinator to join our Undergraduate Teaching team.Based on the University's Sidgwick Site, a short walk from the heart of Cambridge, MMLL is a vibrant community of nearly 1,000 students (including over 770 undergraduates) and 140 academic and professional services staff. We are home to five Sections - French, German, Italian, Slavonic, Spanish & Portuguese - and the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics.Assigned specifically to the Italian and Slavonic Studies Sections, you will be the lynchpin ensuring their seamless operation. You will collaborate closely with six other members of the Section Support Team and colleagues across the Faculty, becoming vital to our student and staff experience.Key Responsibilities Include:* Driving the smooth running of daily Section operations.* Coordinating undergraduate teaching and examining schedules.* Providing essential administrative support for Faculty-wide and Section-specific projects.* Acting as Secretary to the crucial Board of Examiners.We are looking for a highly capable individual with excellent communication and organisational skills and a proven history of improving administrative systems and processes to enhance service quality and delivery.
