The role

As Second Line Application Support, you’ll have the chance to work on complex systems that underpin national security, giving you the opportunity to grow your technical expertiseÑA while making a real impact.

Day-to-day, you’ll provide critical technical support for a suite of software products, both commercial off‑the‑shelf (COTS) and bespoke solutions. You’ll be at the heart of our Service Management Team, ensuring smooth operations and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

  • Responding to support requests via phone and email, performing diagnostic and corrective actions.
  • Recording, updating, and closing support tickets using ITIL compliant processes.
  • Providing clear communication and progress updates to customers and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining applications in production environments through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring service delivery meetsہی agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Babcock Technology Centre.

Qualifications for Second Line Application Support
  • ITIL certification (essential).
