Responsibilities

• Inspect garments to check for damage or required repairs.
• Register any repairs in the database.
• Fold garments neatly after repair and pack safely.

Full Time – Garment Repairer / Seamstress/ster / Laundry Operative

Based in Wickford

Salary of £26,228.60 – Plus Bonus

Full Time Position – 40 Hours per week – 6.30am to 3.00pm - Monday - Friday

A day in the life of aSeamstress/Seamster / Laundry Operative at phs Besafe will involve:

• Inspecting all garments to check for any damage or repairs required.
• Registering any repairs required onto our database.
• Neatly folding all garments in the correct manner after repair and packing safely
• Placing the packaged garments into the correct depot sacks for safe delivery in accordance with our out-scan process
• Other tasks such as the correct disposal of any condemned garments
• At times you may be required to assist our team of laundry operatives
