The Keyrus UK team is expanding rapidly. We require a SQL Quality Assurance Tester to assist on a multi-year global Data programme for a strategic Banking client.

• Target start date: February 2026
• Hybrid model - 3 days at Pune or Bangalore Office, India
• Salary range: 15,00,000 to 20,00,000 INR

The role

As a SDET/SQL & API Automation Test Engineer at Keyrus, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our data systems.

You will play a critical role in analysing raw data, building test frameworks, and validating data products using Java or Python.

Collaborating closely with data analytics experts and stakeholders, you will contribute to the stability and functionality of our data pipelines. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting‑edge technologies and make a significant impact on our data engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and organise raw data to meet business needs and objectives.
• Develop, update, and maintain SQL scripts and test cases as applications and business rules evolve, identifying areas for improvement.
• Works in parallel with business SMEs and BA staff to create thorough, accurate and comprehensive SQL test queries and scripts
• Create appropriate standards and processes to ensure the quality and consistency of data in the platform
• Collaborate with data analytics experts and SMEs to enhance functionality and efficiency with our data ecosystem.

What we’re looking for in our applicants

• +5 years of relevant experience in data engineering and testing roles.
• Experience increating and validating database stored procedures, along with possible outcomes
• Proficiency in SQL Testing, with a strong emphasis on Snowflake
• DB & API Test Automation
• Proficient experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarity withSnowflake
• Basic to Intermediate level with Python Programming for test automation
• Experience inTest automation using UFT/Selenium
• Execution of the test using Jenkins or any other CICD platform
• Understanding of data-driven, keyword or hybrid test automation frameworks
• Working knowledge of cloud computing architecture
• Hands‑on experience with GIT, Power BI reporting is a plus
• Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools like Airflow
• Experience communicating to both technical and business audiences
• Ability to perform root cause analysis of existing models and propose an effective solution
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• Ensuring application security through the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills
