As an SSB member, you will contribute to and monitor the school’s development plan, which is focused on the key improvement priorities for the school. SSBs are also the Trust Board’s interface with key stakeholders: parents, staff and the community. You will be involved in gathering and responding to feedback from parents and staff and developing and maintaining community links for the school.SSB members provide regular feedback to the Trust Board on the performance of their school and the feedback from stakeholders, contributing to the overall improvement of the Trust. SSBs also have the opportunity to influence the strategy of the Trust as a whole.Excellent training and support is provided and you don't need education experience.**About Salfords Primary School**Our School sits within a established cluster of schools, overseen by a Regional Director. SSB's meet formally once per half term (6 meetings across the academic year) and follow an annual work plan. You are also required to attend training and undertake school visits relevant to your areas of responsibility.
