Salary: NCJ point 12 (£27,254) – 17 (£29,540) + well‑being cash plan + pension scheme + Lift Schools benefits

Hours: Full time

Location: Lift Lea Forest, Hurstcroft Rd, Birmingham B33 9RD

Contract type: Fixed‑term contract until the end of Aug 2026 (extension possible)

Start date: ASAP

Your new role

The School Facilities Manager ensures that the school operates safely and effectively every day. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and tidy site, moving items appropriately, carrying out minor repairs, and effectively monitoring contractors on site. The role is key to keeping school facilities available and fit for purpose at all times.

What you’ll need to succeed

Experience of premises management, building cleaning or building management, with knowledge of security systems and Health & Safety procedures. Ability to perform general repairs, lift and carry items, and to follow and comply with instructions on equipment and material usage.
