A local government authority in Chelmsford seeks a reliable School Crossing Patrol Officer to ensure the safety of children crossing the road. This part-time role requires constant public engagement and safety oversight during school hours, with a pay rate of £13.00 per hour. All training and uniforms will be provided.
Permanent, Term Time – approximately 6.66 hours per week. Holiday pay element included. Hours: 08:30‑09:05 (morning) and 14:45‑15:30 (afternoon) during 39 weeks of the academic year.
Pay: £13.00 per hour.
Location: Chelmsford.
Working Style: Community‑based worker.
Support schools once in the morning and once in the afternoon, ensuring the safety of all pedestrians crossing the road to and from school and its surrounding locations.
We are looking for a punctual, reliable and approachable individual who enjoys engaging with the public.
Uniform, equipment and training will be provided.
