Job description
Part-time, term time. Salary pro‑rata to hours and weeks worked. If you start out with the normal school session, an adjustment will reduce your first pay because you are not entitled to be paid for all holidays. Once this adjustment has been completed, you will receive the 12th of your annual salary thereafter. If you start on the first day of term, this will not apply to you.
Responsibilities
To undertake duties concerned with the safe passage of school children across roads to and from school, including the direction of traffic at crossing areas.
You will receive an email from our payroll department before your first pay is due to advise of the amount that will be deducted.
Regulated work
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment. Further guidance will follow in your conditional offer of employment. If your salary is over £38,000 per annum, you will be required to pay for the PVG application cost, which will be deducted from your first pay.
