Overview

Croydon High School is seeking to appoint an experienced Counsellor to play a vital role in the school’s pastoral team. The role provides one-to-one and small group counselling to pupils across the junior and senior schools, 21.6 hours per week over 3 days, during term-time.

You will also liaise with a nationally recognised counselling service that offers therapeutic support at the school.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Part Time

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group counselling to pupils across the junior and senior schools.
  • Work 21.6 hours per week over 3 days, during term-time only.
  • Meet and liaise with a nationally recognised counselling service that offers therapeutic support at the school.
  • Contribute to the school’s pastoral team and share expertise to support student wellbeing.
Qualifications
  • Level 4 Diploma in Counselling/Psychotherapy.
  • Accreditation with one of the following bodies: BACP, UKCP, BPS.
