Through this comprehensive network, the organization serves more than 15,000 individuals annually across the Greater Toronto Area.Provides centralized support to all long term care homes in calling in and replacing staff during evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays, according to established procedures and shift scheduling guidelines. Ensures timely updates to the homes and maintains both computerized and manual staff scheduling/timekeeping records.**Qualifications:*** Completion of secretarial program, or equivalent* Minimum 1 year clerical or secretarial experience with scheduling in a unionized environment an asset* Computer proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to engage others in a pleasant, positive and professional manner* Superb time management and organization skills* Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervison and also as part of a team* Excellent customer service skills* Must be able to work evenings, nights, weekends and statutory holidays* Recent satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screen* Ability to converse in English and Chinese**Working Condition:*** The Incumbent will primarily be working remotely and must have a stable and secure internet connection at the remote location.
