Motorvogue is looking for a driven, commercially focused Sales Manager to join our Norwich dealership. This is a key leadership role within the business, with a major focus on transforming and growing used car performance, alongside maintaining strong new car standards.

If you’re passionate about new and used cars, margin, stock turn and team performance – and enjoy rolling your sleeves up to make things happen – this role is for you.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the sales department, with a clear priority on improving used vehicle volume, profitability and stock management.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Driving sales performance, margin, stock turn and preparation standards
  • Managing and motivating the sales team through clear structure, coaching and accountability
  • Ensuring strong sales process discipline (enquiry handling, follow‑up, finance, compliance)
  • Working closely with Group leadership on stock strategy, pricing and performance reporting
  • Maintaining solid new car performance and standards across the brands
  • Supporting finance penetration, add‑ons and overall deal quality
  • Creating a positive, professional and high‑energy showroom culture
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager (or strong Assistant Sales Manager ready to step up)
  • A real passion for used cars – stock control, margin, turn and presentation
  • Strong commercial awareness and KPI focus
  • Confident coach and leader who enjoys developing people
  • Calm, organised and process-driven, but commercially aggressive when needed
