Description of role:

Yourgene Health are are seeking a driven & results orientated Sales Executive to lead our sales efforts across the UK/I & Nordics regions. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused on executing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and expanding market share. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle – from prospecting & pipeline development to closing deals and nurturing long-term client relationships.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about delivering value to customers, and is motivated by exceeding ambitious sales goals

The UKI Sales Executive is responsible for overall management of Yourgene Health’s UKI & Nordic sales: developing and driving sales growth programs to ensure the territory delivers on strategic initiatives and revenue targets. The role is unique in the company, covering the full Yourgene Health portfolio. This position requires a desire to find new business, penetrate new markets, and build long-term revenue streams.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across the UKI and the Nordics.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer success) to align on go-to-market strategies and customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, including forecasting and reporting.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and regional dynamics to inform sales strategy.
  • Develop and nurture a KOL network per market.
  • Comply with all Health, Safety, UK Bribery Act systems.
  • Comply with all Quality Systems.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

  • BSc/MSc/PhD in a Biological Science subject (Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics or similar)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B environment.
  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of sales experience, preferably in Genomic sales including Capex instrument sales
  • Strong understanding of the UK, Irish, and Nordic markets, with the ability to navigate cultural and business nuances.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms.
  • Willingness to travel 70% of your time within the region (National & International)
  • Experience selling to both direct (public and private hospitals and diagnostic labs), Pharma & indirect customers (distributors)
  • Experience in tender submissions & management
