About the Role

We’re seeking a driven Sales Executive or Sales Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in Ruby’s ambitious growth plans. Whether you’re an experienced sales professional or someone looking to take the next step in their career, this role offers exciting opportunities for growth and development.

As part of the sales team, you’ll handle inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, exceptional customer service and helping customers find the best products for their needs. A key part of your role will be providing quality industry knowledge and detailed technical product information to ensure customers have all the information they need for a smooth and confident transaction. For candidates with managerial experience, you’ll also have the opportunity to mentor team members, contribute to strategic sales planning, and lead key growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Provide technical product data and quality industry knowledge to assist customers in making informed decisions.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Manage sales inquiries across all channels professionally and promptly.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our product range, including new items.
  • Accurately record and update sales data in line with company procedures.
  • Promote cross‑selling opportunities to maximise customer value.
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns and sales strategies.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team set sales targets, and develop acquisition strategies to drive growth (for managers).

  • Proven track record in sales with measurable results.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Sales management experience is highly desirable for manager applicants.
  • Experience with CRM or pipeline management software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Strong numerical skills for accurate pricing calculations.

Job Requirements

Full‑time role: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Ability to commute to the office.

Job Type: Full‑time.

Pay: £28,000.00‑£40,000.00 per year.

Additional pay: Yearly bonus, company pension, free parking, on‑site parking.

Schedule: Monday to Friday.

Overtime.

Weekend availability.

Relocation: Highampton, EX21 5LX – reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
