My client, a manufacturing/engineering company based near Stourport-on-Severn is looking to recruit a Sales Engineer - After Sales on a Permanent basis.

You will be a key member of the sales team, building relationships with existing and new customers, producing quotes in a professional and efficient manner

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders
• Deal with enquiries over the phone, email and sometimes in person (client visits)
• Produce quotes in a timely manner and follow up appropriately
• Provide product information to clients in a clear and professional manner
• Keep customer updated on order status
• Maintain accurate records at all times
• Explore new business opportunities

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role ideally within Manufacturing
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, 2D and 3D
• Good IT skills
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to get on people at all levels of business
• Good numerical skills
• Strong negotiating skills with an ability to overcome objections
