Based: Field Based reporting to Reading office
This senior sales role is accountable for meeting and exceeding the sales targets and performance objectives directly aligned with the Kyocera strategy for ICT services. They will sell ICT products, solutions and services to existing Annodata print customers and new Kyocera prospects and customers. The role collaborates with other teams to ensure cohesive client engagement when cross-selling into the Annodata, MCL and Kyocera client base.
Responsibilities
- Sales lead creation and pipeline management
- Identify new (cold) business opportunities via multiple methods (frameworks, market research, personal network, events, referrals, etc.)
- Take ownership of personal leads and leads provided by the business
- Utilise tender portals and framework tender leads to pursue high-value ICT opportunities
- Collaborate with external partner organisations to identify and pursue third-party leads and referrals
- Build and maintain a comprehensive pipeline of opportunities using approved pricing models (ICT Managed Services, Professional & Consultancy Services, Hardware & Software)
- Ensure all leads and accounts are managed and updated in Salesforce CRM
- Act as the focal point for prospects; manage the sales process and document it according to ISO quality procedures
- Attend relevant industry conferences/events as required to raise Kyocera awareness
- Present, promote and sell products and services to existing and new customers
- Understand customer requirements and translate into a viable offering to secure repeat business
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers via in-person meetings, calls and emails
- Coordinate with the wider Kyocera UK Group to deliver orders within agreed timeframes
- Deliver sales targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Prepare and deliver weekly forecasting and reporting to the ICT New Business Sales Manager
- Build relationships with Kyocera ICT technology vendors
- Initiate and coordinate market penetration plans
- Assist in marketing activities as needed
- Identify personal development needs and seek training accordingly
- Obtain sign-off for proposals and RFP responses; take ownership of proposals and presentations
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and ethics
- Manage allocated customer accounts and liaise with operations as necessary
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-selling
- Maintain any required Sales Vendor/Supplier accreditations
- Undertake regular coaching with ICT New Business Sales Manager
- Contribute to sales and marketing campaigns for ICT solutions
- Input into ICT proposition development and industry-sector messaging
- Promote Kyocera in the UC market as a trusted partner
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
- Demonstrable experience in sales with ICT solutions knowledge for Corporate and Public Sectors
- Proven success in preparing, submitting and owning tender/ITT submissions and winning business
- Experience in a targeted sales environment with successful negotiation and closing
- Experience working cross-functionally and building strong relationships with teams
- Experience in project planning and commercial environments
- Experience establishing relationships with senior (C-level) stakeholders
- Highly IT literate with CRM experience (Salesforce or equivalent) and proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, MS Project, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Ability to analyze data and produce professional reports
- Organized, with excellent prioritization and attention to detail
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Team player capable of maximizing cross-functional opportunities
