A community sports club in Acton is seeking a Safeguarding Manager to promote best practices in safeguarding for children and vulnerable adults. You will ensure up-to-date training for all coaches and volunteers while acting as the key contact for safeguarding issues. This voluntary role plays a vital part in creating a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

We are a community sports club dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. We are seeking a Safeguarding Manager to help ensure we meet our statutory safeguarding obligations and establish best practice.
Our Vision is to become the community club of choice in London, where everyone gets active via the Sport of Handball. We want to carry on activities which benefit the community and encourage, foster and develop Handball in all its forms among all ages and sections of our community, while ensuring we protect the data of our stakeholders in accordance with the expectations of the law and good industry practice. You will be contributing to bringing more people into physical movement via handball—particularly physically inactive social groups such as children and young people, women and girls, and financially disadvantaged socio‑economic groups, in accordance with Sport England's strategy.
To ensure the safety and well-being of all children, young people, and vulnerable adults involved in the club by promoting best practices in safeguarding and acting as the main point of contact for any safeguarding concerns.
