Job summary

A vibrant independent school in Rochester is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide support to students and assist class teachers. Hours:

Full time, permanent, term time only. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.30am to 4.00pm Tuesday 8.30am to 5.00pm. Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm

Salary:

FTE £22,222 (Actual Salary £17,778)

Ripplevale School and College is a thriving independent special school, for 170 students aged 6 to 25 years old, located in the historic town of Rochester. As part of the Ripplevale family of schools, we provide a holistic, child centred approach to meeting the needs of our students, most of whom have an Education and Health Care Plan. Identified needs may include Autism Spectrum Disorder, dyslexia, speech, language and communication difficulties, DCD, sensory, and high levels of anxiety.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong personality and a robust work ethic to work closely with students on a 1-2-1 basis and provide invaluable support to our class teachers.
