Qualifications

Job description
Retail Design Consultant

Join Bellrock Group as a Retail Design Consultant, working with Jordon Group to deliver commercial and retail fit‑outs ranging from petrol forecourts, convenience stores to coffee shops, fast foods and office refits. In this role you will manage every phase of a project – from initial surveys and design to costing, quotation, procurement and delivery – ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Become an expert in the retail industry, focusing on petrol forecourts, convenience, farm shops, coffee shops, fast food and other opportunities such as office refits and high‑street retailers.
  • Conduct initial site surveys using Site Audit Pro.
  • Collaborate with specialist trades (electricians, plumbers, builders, principal contractors) to translate client needs into realistic deliverables.
  • Work effectively with internal teams at Jordon Group.
  • Understand the turnkey shop fit‑out process, including shop fronts, joinery, electrical, lighting, plumbing, shelving, counters, back‑of‑house, refrigeration, heating & cooling, ventilation.
  • Create accurate and competitive quotes.
  • Close sales effectively, supported by training and mentoring.
  • Provide excellent customer service, building long‑term relationships.
  • Apply project management skills to deliver successful projects.
  • Conduct market research to understand client motivations and industry drivers.
  • Maintain Health and Safety training, including SPA Passport, Asbestos Awareness and other required certifications.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Existing CAD training and certification, or willingness to undertake necessary training.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and OneDrive/SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with Epix and our in‑houseCustomer Relationship Management).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel and occasional overnight stays.
  • Commercial mindset and strong time‑management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
Working Arrangements

Flexible hybrid model: work from home and on‑site as required. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
