At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury’s Moortown store on a fixed-term basis until February 2026. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5‑ and 6‑day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: Day off
• Monday: Day off
• Tuesday: 05:00 to 09:00
• Wednesday: 05:00 to 08:30
• Thursday: 05:00 to 08:30
• Friday: 05:00 to 08:30
• Saturday: 05:00 to 08:30

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows and oven canopies.
• Outside work keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.

Arcus will support you through full training.

What will you need?

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; on‑the‑job training will be supplied.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• Must provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App used for recording time and attendance – this is a condition of employment with us.
