Qualifications

  • Previous damage restoration experience is a plus.

About The Role

We’re looking for motivated and reliable people to join our First Response team as Technicians. Whether you’re just starting out or already experienced, we’d love to hear from you.

This role is home-based, meaning you’ll start from your own address. You will be provided with a company van for exclusive work use, and you’ll be required to travel across your local area and, at times, across the UK.

In this role, you’ll help people whose homes or businesses have been affected by leaks, floods, fires, or other accidental damage. You’ll work in a hands‑on environment, supported by a friendly and experienced team. Full training is provided for those joining at trainee level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with cleaning, drying, and sanitising tasks following water or fire damage.
  • Helping to monitor and install drying equipment on-site.
  • Participating in assessments and reporting, ensuring that all necessary documents, photographs, and communications are accurately recorded.
  • Working closely with our First Response Technicians and Team Leaders to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintaining health and safety standards at all times.
  • Providing excellent customer service to policyholders and other relevant parties.
  • Travel to jobs across your local area and occasionally further afield in the UK.
Key Requirements

We’re open to applicants of all experience levels. You may be a complete beginner or someone with existing restoration, construction, maintenance, or insurance knowledge.

Ideally, You Will Have
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • A full, clean driving license with no more than 3 points.
  • Previous experience in damage restoration (preferable but not essential).
  • Familiarity with the insurance claims process (desirable but not essential).
