Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced restaurant manager to guide our staff and make sure everything runs well. The ideal applicant will possess excellent leadership abilities, a passion for hospitality, and a complete understanding of food safety, food production, and team management. Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, guaranteeing efficient service and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking operations to maintain quality standards
  • Organise staff schedules, assign work, and oversee team members, including kitchen and service workers
  • Verify adherence to food safety laws and hygienic requirements
  • Monitor inventory levels and liaise with vendors for timely procurement of materials and supplies
  • Handle client questions, complaints, and feedback professionally to uphold the restaurant’s reputation
  • Implement training programmes to develop staff skills in hospitality, food safety, and service excellence
  • Assist in planning unique events or promotions to promote consumer involvement

Experience
  • Proven overseeing experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Extensive restaurant experience with an understanding of food preparation, culinary skills, and kitchen operations
  • Demonstrable team management skills with the capacity to lead a varied team successfully
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and food production processes
  • It is beneficial to have prior hotel or hospitality experience
  • Experience managing a bar or working as a barista is regarded as advantageous
  • Strong leadership characteristics mixed with good organising skills
  • Previous experience in serving or front-of-house duties is beneficial but not essential
