Role: Resilience Coach (Temporary, Full‑Time – 37hrs/week)
Location: Wrexham
Pay: Up to £20.00 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Through term (starting 3rd April)
Type: Temporary

About the Opportunity
We are recruiting a Resilience Coach to support learners at an established further education college in Wrexham. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about learner engagement, mental‑well‑being, and helping young people overcome barriers to participation in education and employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support learner engagement, progression, and pathways into further learning or work
  • Help learners settle into their programmes and identify personal, emotional, or well‑being barriers
  • Provide direct coaching, encourage resilience and motivation
  • Make informed referrals to on‑site counselling and external support agencies
  • Work closely with academic and pastoral teams to monitor learner progress
What do you need?
  • Experience in learner support, coaching, mentoring, or related pastoral role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse learners and support emotional well‑being
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work independently
