Job summary

A leading education provider in the UK is seeking a Residential Childcare Tutor. Candidates will train and support apprentices in achieving their qualifications, working mainly from home. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in childcare management, an L5 Childcare qualification, and excellent communication skills. A full UK driving licence is required. Competitive salary range of £28-£32k with performance bonuses and employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • Full UK Driving Licence required.

Residential Childcare Tutor – TK Productions / The Spot Zone

We are looking for an experienced Residential Childcare professional to join our team, delivering CYP Residential Childcare apprenticeships to learners, mainly working remotely from home.

Responsibilities
  • Train, assess, motivate and support Residential Childcare learners on programmes towards achieving CYP / Residential Childcare Apprenticeship qualifications.
  • Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Residential Childcare training materials, promoting standardisation and using approved training methods to develop the learner and utilising every opportunity to support them in achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and monitor candidates’ progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews or additional support reviews.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Minimum 2 years’ occupational experience within a Residential Childcare setting as a manager.
  • L5 qualification in Childcare.
  • Experience delivering Residential Childcare apprenticeships.
  • Assessor Award – TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33.
  • Teaching qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
