Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in working in weight management, diabetes and/or general practice settings.
• Proven experience of active prescribing independent medications.
• Demonstrable experience of participation in clinical governance or quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote patient consultations within the weight management service.
• Manage patients prescribed GLP‑1 and related medications, including initiation and ongoing monitoring.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement.

Skills

UK-based, with NMC registration

Experience in weight management

Independent Prescriber qualification

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience of participation in safeguarding activities

Confidence with remote consulting
