A training provider in England is seeking a Payroll Officer to support high-quality payroll services. This part-time role requires a Level 3 payroll qualification and two years of payroll experience. Qualifications

  • Level 3 payroll qualification and/or minimum of 2 years payroll experience.
  • Excellent administration and time management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Employment Law.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Current working experience with HR databases.
  • Experience of Pay Circle.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Payroll Manager through the payroll process from 'starter' to 'leaver'.
  • Act as main point of contact during the absence of the Payroll Manager.
  • Administer appropriate deductions and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide advice and guidance on payroll matters to managers and employees.
  • Oversee timely submission of all statutory returns to HMRC.

Excellent administration and time management skills
Good working knowledge of Employment Law
Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook
Experience in Pay Circle

Education

Level 3 payroll qualification
Minimum of 2 years payroll experience
