Job summary

A leading security services provider is seeking a remote Systems Engineer to maintain and service a variety of security systems including access control and fire alarms. The ideal candidate has strong technical IT and electrical knowledge, can work under pressure, and is comfortable with a 24/7 on-call schedule. This full-time position offers a salary of up to £36,000 and comes with a company car.

Qualifications

• Experience installing & servicing access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.
• Experience with fire alarm systems; GENT preferred.
• Excellent technical IT knowledge in installing Windows OS and networking.
• Comfort with irregular hours and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Attend to maintenance calls on-site or by phone.
• Rectify faults on the first visit.
• Carry out preventative maintenance visits.
• Maintain accurate records of site configurations.
• Provide training to customers and colleagues.
• Commission small projects as required.
