RELIEF MAINTENANCE – Cinnamon Care Collection

Mature, experienced professional needed to support our high‑standard care homes across South of England, London, Midlands and Sheffield. All duties will involve troubleshooting minor electrical, plumbing, joinery and painting/decoration tasks. The role requires regular travel and overnight stays with mileage paid.

Salary: £40,000 per annum plus company benefits

Working pattern: Full‑time

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure high standards of maintenance throughout each home and grounds, completing all legislative checks and repairs identified within the governance system.
  • Carry out general maintenance and major decoration works, including plumbing, tiling, painting, decorating, groundwork, building work, replacement of light bulbs, cleaning gutters, etc.
  • Travel to different locations as needed to complete projects or attend to urgent maintenance, checks and repairs.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Maintain compliance with NICEIC training, replace like‑for‑like electrical items, and report accidents immediately to the Manager on duty and the GPSM.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and maintain compliance with relevant codes.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience in minor electrical work, plumbing, joinery, central heating systems, and general building maintenance.
  • Foundation knowledge of building regulations and COSHH.
  • Experience in PAT testing and NICEIC replacement work.
  • Legionella management training is desirable.
  • Full and clean driving licence with reasonable access outside working hours.
