Relief Childcare Practitioner – Bishopbriggs

Salary: £12.82 per hour

Overview

Buttercup House

The Buttercup House Project offers a short‑break respite service for up to three children and young people with learning and physical disabilities in a comfortable, relaxing environment. The setting aims to give everyone a holiday experience and fun time with friends.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people with learning and physical challenges during their respite stay.
• Foster a safe, friendly, and engaging environment.
• Assist children in achieving their personal support plan goals.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications
  • Ability to adapt communication style to build successful relationships with young people.
  • Commitment to work with children through their personal support plans and celebrate their successes.
  • Positive, flexible attitude and willingness to work both independently and within a team.
