The Home

Orchard Lodge is a purpose‑built residential care and nursing home located in Armagh, offering panoramic views of the two local cathedrals and the surrounding city from most bedrooms, lounges, and dining rooms. The facility provides private, light, and spacious bedrooms with en‑suite facilities and supports residents in maintaining independence with 24‑hour care.

The Role

The Registered Nurse is a key leadership position responsible for managing resident care, overseeing shift operations, and maintaining safety standards. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver person‑centred care to each resident.
  • Assess and monitor the physical health of residents within care plans.
  • Offer support and supervise all care staff and new recruits.
  • Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to resident care.
  • Comply with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Undertake any other duties reasonably required by the Home Manager.
