Registered Home Manager

Our Meallmore team at Crimond Houseare ready to warmly welcome you as a Registered Home Manager within their care home located in Crimond, Aberdeenshire. You’ll be involved in continuous assessments to plan and evaluate the needs of the residents, at the same time as coaching your colleagues and role modelling best practice.

Salary: £65,000per annum + competitive benefits

Hours: 37.5 hours perweek

Role & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the care home ensuring you deliver services to the highest quality that meet both internal and external requirements, while ensuring the residents are placed at the centre of the service’s philosophy.
  • Ensures the care home provides a safe and stimulating environment for residents, and promotes dignity, respect and fulfilling of potential in line with National Care Standards.
  • Drive business performance and quality of care.
  • Provide support and professional supervision to your team.
  • To uphold the business values, aims and objectives.
  • Ensure confidentiality regarding all aspects of care and management of the home is maintained.
  • Demonstrate empathy, engage team members, and work with residents, families and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
  • RGN / RMN / RNLD with NMC registration or SVQ Level 4 with relevant experience.
  • Proven management experience delivering elderly and dementia care in a medium to large sized care home setting.
  • Experience of delivering against Key Performance Indicators including delivering positive outcomes for our residents, Care Inspectorate compliance, sales, leadership and financial management.
  • Established leadership skills to foster a nurturing environment for colleagues to encourage a culture of growth and advancement.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and legislation.
  • Confident in the use of IT applications including MS Teams and Office packages.
  • Professional, compassionate and values driven - you’ll pride yourself on your person-centred, thoughtful approach to care.
  • What’s just as important is that you are organised, flexible in your approach and have great communication skills.
