Qualifications

  • Strong experience in electrical maintenance including fault finding and minor works.
  • Exposure to mechanical and fabric maintenance in commercial environments.
  • Confidence working independently across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned, reactive, and proactive maintenance across assets.
  • Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and minor works.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Respond to emergency call outs as part of a rota.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a mobile environment. You’ll be trusted to manage your own workload, solve problems on the ground, and deliver high standards of service every day, with the support of a business that invests in your development.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in keeping client sites safe, compliant, and operating at their best by:

  • Delivering planned, reactive, and proactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and building fabric assets
  • Carrying out fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and minor works
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, compliantly, and to a high standard
  • Working closely with clients, colleagues, subcontractors, and the Command Centre
  • Responding to emergency callouts as part of a rota
  • Completing accurate documentation and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for

We’re keen to hear from engineers who bring:

  • Strong experience in electrical maintenance, including fault finding and minor works
  • Exposure to mechanical and fabric maintenance in commercial environments
  • Confidence working independently across multiple sites
  • A strong understanding of safe systems of work and compliance
  • Good IT skills and a full UK driving licence
  • Essential qualifications
    • City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
    • 18th Edition (BS 7671)
  • Desirable
    • Inspection & Testing (2394/2395)
    • Building Services NVQ
    • JIB accreditation
    • IPAF or PASMA
