Key Responsibilities:
Financial Control & Reporting
  • Own the month‑end process from start to finish—delivering accurate management accounts, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, and partnering with auditors and stakeholders to keep everything seamless and on track.
Budgeting
  • Lead the annual budgeting journey—partner with GMs and department heads to craft realistic forecasts, monitor performance, and turn insights into smart, corrective actions that keep us on track.
Business Support
  • Shape the commercial strategy with data‑driven insight—deliver powerful financial models, deep profitability analysis, and challenge GMs to elevate performance and unlock growth.
Compliance & Management
  • Safeguard financial integrity across every site—embed robust policies, maintain internal controls, and lead periodic audits to ensure absolute compliance and confidence in our processes.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Champion financial excellence—drive best practices, consistency, and a culture of continuous improvement across every hotel and the wider finance function.
We’d love it if you had a combination of the below:
  • Proven experience managing finance across multiple business units or hotels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a growing environment and keen to assist with developing the groups finance function.
  • Knowledge of Excel and familiarity with hotel systems (e.g. Opera PMS/Rezlynx, Sage, Sage Intacct, or similar).
