A community-focused organization in Neath is seeking a Reactive Repairs Manager to lead a high-performing service team. The role requires driving a customer-focussed approach while managing maintenance responses and collaboration with partners. Candidates should have 2 years’ experience in a technical service and hold a Degree/equivalent in a related field and an SMSTS qualification. Reactive Repairs Manager
We have a permanent, full-time position available as a Reactive Repairs Manager with a competitive pay and benefits package including a starting salary of £48,100 per year, rising to £51,890 per year after key competencies of the role are met.
Reporting to the Operations Manager in the Property Services team, this role is responsible for delivering a responsive maintenance service, responding swiftly to requests from customers and colleagues for repairs and maintenance to properties.
The post holder will drive a customer focussed, high performing service through leading a large multidisciplinary team, which includes technical experts, trade and support services, and to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners, including suppliers and contractors.
They will apply their technical skills, health and safety knowledge, performance management and commercial awareness to continually improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery and decision making, ensuring commitments are achieved.
To be successful in the role of Reactive Repairs Manager you will need to have 2 years’ experience of leading a successful technical service and be educated to a Degree level/equivalent experience in a related subject and hold an SMSTS Health & Safety qualification.
