Salary: £50,029.48 per annum

Are you ready to lead operations that balance heritage and progress? Hills Quarry Products is looking for a Quarry Manager (appointed under 8.1c of the Quarries Regulations 1999) to join our team and take responsibility for safe, efficient, and cost-effective production at our Woodsford Quarry. This role is perfect for someone who respects traditional quarrying methods while embracing innovation to improve efficiency, sustainability, and safety.
As Quarry Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality materials in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner, while meeting budgetary and performance targets. You will maintain strict compliance with all safety standards and legal requirements, including the Quarries Regulations and Health & Safety legislation. On a day-to-day basis, you will lead and motivate the team, foster a positive working environment, and support individuals to perform at their best. Additionally, you will oversee operational activities to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, prepare accurate monthly reports and forecasts, and ensure full compliance with all relevant permissions and licences.
