Job description

This is a great opportunity to work for one of the world’s innovative pharmaceutical companies. Pfizer is looking to recruit an apprentice within the Global Clinical Supplies Quality Operations (GCSOQ) Team within PharmSci Operation Quality (PSOQ).

Qualification Requirements

5 GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) including mathematics and English.

Higher qualifications such as A-Levels, Btec or other equivalent qualification in Science or Engineering would be preferred.

Salary - £18,630 per annum

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday, 9am – 5.25pm. Fridays, 9am – 4.05pm

12pm - 12.45pm lunch break

Duration - 24 months

Start Date - 1st September 2026

Interview Date - The Assessment Centre for this position will be on the week commencing March 30th 2026

Job Description

This position will be supporting the Global Clinical Supplies Quality Operations (GCSOQ) Team within PharmSci Operation Quality (PSOQ) in areas such as, but not limited to, Quality Management Systems oversight, Release / Disposition including Qualified Persons supporting activities, Vendor Management Qualification and Oversight plus Clinical Complaints, Investigation and Audit support. This will include performing and supporting tasks such as the following:

  • Completing job‑related training and maintain personal training records.
  • Building contacts and forming collaborative partnerships with key business lines and Quality Stakeholders Globally.
  • Contributing to readiness activities before, during and after audits and inspections.
  • Execute Clinical Complaints Intake and Triage activities.
  • Track Vendor notifications and communication for Clinical Complaint Management.
  • Support the monitoring, maintaining, and improving of systems and processes used for Quality Compliance.
  • Identifying quality continuous improvement efforts to streamline compliance and efficiencies.
  • Execute aspects of Clinical Packaging Release and Disposition activities.
  • Support Qualified Persons (QP) activities to include QP declarations.
  • Assist with Quality Agreement generation and amendments.
  • Perform aspects of Vendor qualification and Vendor oversight activities.
