A leading construction firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quality Adviser to enhance internal quality assurance processes. The role involves conducting audits, maintaining ISO certifications, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across various locations including Yeovil and Crewkerne. We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Adviser who can embody and demonstrate the organisation's values and deliver excellent customer service to our internal stakeholders.
You'll have an understanding of construction-based and engineering processes and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and with our internal customers to further the team and company objectives.
The Quality team is part of the SHEQ team within YTL Construction UK and is successful not only because of the talented people that work in our team, but also the support we provide for each other and our stakeholders in line with ISO 9001 best practice.
This is a regional role and will require travel to various locations, such as Crewkerne, Yeovil, Weymouth, Taunton and Bridgwater.
You'll aim to deliver efficiencies to the business through a range of improvement and change initiatives based on ISO standards and company requirements.
A key part of this role is to use your knowledge to provide advice and guidance to maintain, monitor and improve the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications by auditing and updating documents via our management information system.
You will be responsible for undertaking internal audits of our integrated quality management system, construction processes and procedures, while also supporting their continuous improvement by offering advice and guidance to all departments.
You'll make sure that quality audits and reviews are undertaken at a variety of office and construction site locations weekly and external contractors in your region.
You'll participate in continual improvement projects, reviews and assist with any other duties assigned by the management team.
In addition to auditing and quality management system administration tasks, you will be expected to work on your own initiative and actively support the implementation and development of new processes by conducting regular site visits to projects across the region.
