Ebury is an award-winning non-fiction publishing division of Penguin Random House, and in 2024 won Publisher of the Year. Our Smart Hub is an audience-focused team working across innovative publishing lists on imprints WH Allen, Witness Books, Ebury Edge, Ebury Press, and Flight Books. We publish prize-winning bestsellers by global writers, thinkers, journalists, and cultural figures across genres like history, politics, literary memoir, nature-writing, high performance, and self-development. Our authors include James O’Brien, Steven Bartlett, Caitlin Moran, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Ressa, Michael Rosen, Zeinab Badawi, David Attenborough, Michaela Coel, Dara McAnulty, Adam Grant, and others.
Ebury’s Smart Hub seeks a creative, experienced, and proactive PR professional with experience working on conversation-starting books or entertainment brands to join our award-winning communications team as a publicist. You will collaborate with creative publishing colleagues in a friendly and inclusive environment, during an exciting period of growth for the UK’s largest dedicated non-fiction publisher.
Essential criteria:

It should be no more than one or two pages.
Circa £35,000, dependent on skills and experience, plus bonus and benefits.
While our UK offices are spaces to connect and collaborate, we offer flexibility. You will be expected to attend in-person meetings at our Embassy Gardens office at least 2 days a week (Tuesday and Thursday). Some work outside regular hours, such as evenings and weekends, may be required. We are happy to discuss this during the recruitment process.
