Overview

Within our Capital Delivery department, we are looking for a Project Manager to join the Waste Infrastructure team. Based in our Finham (Coventry) office and reporting directly to the Lead Project Manager, the Project Manager will be accountable for delivering on key project KPIs across a portfolio of large capital engineering and construction projects within Severn Trent’s Capital and Commercial Services business area. You’ll be managing key aspects of project delivery such as scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources, as well as liaising with project stakeholders at all levels. Having a driving licence is essential as the role will involve travel to various sites.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver on key project KPIs across a portfolio of large capital engineering and construction projects within Severn Trent’s Capital and Commercial Services business area.
  • Manage scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources for assigned projects.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Travel to various sites as part of project delivery (driving licence is essential).
What you’ll bring to the role
  • Ideally degree qualified or working towards, or relevant industry experience in Project and Programme Delivery; able to manage multiple capital engineering and construction works.
  • Experience managing NEC contracts is desirable.
  • Proven track record of cost planning, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Dynamic and collaborative leader with excellent communication and influencing skills; strong ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders; a drive for continuous improvement and the ability to anticipate issues.
