Job description

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Manchester studio to support the delivery of projects and our client relationships.

You

We're looking for somebody that wants to be part of an ambitious team within a growing agency.

You will have proven experience of supporting digital projects from brief through to delivery whilst building effective client relationships and managing numerous stakeholders.

We don't have a prescribed project management methodology at Absurd; we have the experience to be versatile and work in the way that is most effective for our individual clients. We're therefore looking for somebody with experience working across a range of project management methodologies who is able to adapt to suit different client and project needs.

As you'd expect from a growing agency, you'll need to be used to working under pressure and running multiple projects at a time.

You'll likely already have 2+ years experience in an agency environment.

Tasks

• Supporting the team in defining project deliverables and scope
• Planning projects from the initial stages of concept/consultancy through to delivery
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients
• Managing Jira to support client communication
• Continuously assessing working methods and processes; making recommendations for improvements in order to deliver client satisfaction and project profitability
• Identifying and implementing KPIs and project milestones; communicating these clearly to our clients
• Reviewing project resources and highlighting capacity issues where appropriate
• Forming strong relationships with our clients
• Ensuring SLAs are met
• Keeping the agency and client up to date on project status
• Overseeing project budgets and managing change control
• Working as part of the team to win new business and develop current client relationships as part of the agency's pipeline

Our staff work from our Manchester office at least 2 days per week.
