Project Manager – International Broadcast & Live Event Projects

London, United Kingdom

Host Broadcast Services (HBS) is a leading, independent host broadcast specialist, dedicated to helping international sports federations, organising committees, and rights holders deliver their events to a global audience. We provide world‑class broadcast solutions for some of the world’s biggest sporting events, including the prestigious FIFA World Cup™ ensuring broadcasters worldwide can offer fans a unique and engaging viewing experience.

Headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, and as part of the Infront Sports & Media group, HBS offers the full spectrum of host broadcast operations and services — combining technological innovation with deep industry expertise to set the benchmark in live sports broadcasting.

Project Manager – International Broadcast & Live Event Projects

Are you a clear-headed, people-focused Project Manager who thrives in complex, international environments? Do you enjoy creating the conditions for teams to deliver — bringing structure, alignment, and momentum so that projects move forward smoothly and predictably?

We’re looking for a Project Manager to work closely with the Project team, ensuring the successful execution of complex projects within agreed scope, budget, and timelines. This role is about facilitating the teams, maintaining strong governance, and ensuring that information, planning, and decision‑making flow clearly across teams and stakeholders.

What you’ll do
  • Drive projects forward by organising delivery, governance, and planning, not executing operations
  • Ensure project information is clear, structured, accurate, and delivered on time
  • Apply and champion HBS project management methodologies and tools across the full project lifecycle
  • Lead project reviews and operational meetings, ensuring cross‑department alignment
  • Act as a facilitator and coordinator across multi‑skill, international teams
  • Maintain oversight of risks, timelines, dependencies, and budgets, working closely with Finance and the Project Director
  • Ensure high‑quality client‑facing deliverables (plans, progress updates, debriefs, final reports)
  • Own complete and accurate project documentation, from design through post‑event
  • Capture lessons learned to continuously improve quality and efficiency
In addition
  • Serve as the UK office reference point for project management topics
  • Support portfolio visibility, consistency and governance across UK projects
  • Onboard and mentor new PMO / Project Management resources
  • Promote best practices, continuous improvement and alignment with corporate standards
What we’re looking for
  • Experience in broadcast, host broadcast operations or live events is essential
  • Proven experience in project management methodologies (certification or equivalent experience)
  • Strong, confident communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in international, multi‑stakeholder environments
  • Highly organised, structured, and confident managing complexity
  • Experience with budget planning, cost control and risk management
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)
  • Willingness to travel internationally, if required

HBS is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates and will provide reasonable adjustments to support candidates with disabilities or specific needs throughout the recruitment process.
