Job summary

A leading utilities firm in the UK is seeking a Project Co-ordinator to support the Project Manager Teams in delivering successful projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in the HV & LV industry and relevant engineering qualifications. Responsibilities include tracking project progress, ordering materials, and assisting in compliance with health and safety policies. Qualifications

  • Experience in the HV & LV industry.
  • Relevant Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent).
  • Recognised safety qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent).

Responsibilities

  • Keep work programmes up to date and track every aspect of projects.
  • Help with ordering materials and raising POs.
  • Assist Project Managers with setting people to work on site.

Skills

Experience in the HV & LV industry
Proven track record working within an Electrical HV environment
Experience working with Project Delivery Teams

Education

Relevant Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent)

About the Role

Work with the Project Manager Teams within ICP to help drive the successful delivery, in all aspects of scope, customer satisfaction, commercial and financial control of awarded projects within the UK for the growing successful Business of Ipsum.

Responsibilities
  • Keep work programmes up to date, including creating a full Excel spreadsheet to track every aspect of projects.
  • Help with ordering materials and raising POs for suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Assist Project Managers with setting people to work on site and ensuring full compliance with Ipsum H&S policy.
  • Create job packs including RAMS and Work Instructions.
  • Attend site meetings or customer‑facing events when opportunities arise and assist with identifying scope opportunities and preparing variation quotations.
Qualifications
  • Experience in the HV & LV industry.
  • Relevant Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent).
  • Recognised safety qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent).
  • Proven track record working within an Electrical HV environment.
  • Experience working with Project Delivery Teams including commercial and financial control.
