The role involves administrative support, coordinating logistics, and using digital tools to enhance programme efficiency. Ideal candidates will have strong organisation skills, a commitment to safeguarding, and ideally some experience in sports or charity environments. Flexible working arrangements are available, and this position is a chance to make a real difference in the community.
This is a hands-on, varied role combining programme coordination, systems and process improvement, and organisational support. You’ll help the MCC Foundation deliver inclusive cricket programmes for young people across the UK, support partners and colleagues on the ground, and use digital tools and data to make the work more efficient and effective.
Location: Lord’s Cricket Ground, London (with flexible working)
Contract: Full-time
Reports to: Director of Programmes and Operations
As Programme Coordinator, you’ll sit at the heart of how the MCC Foundation delivers its work. You’ll work closely with the Programmes & Operations Team and provide administrative and organisational support to the Chief Executive. It’s a great opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive and tech-savvy, and who wants to build experience in a growing, purpose-driven organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the coordination and administration of MCCF’s UK programmes, including the National Hub Programme and Competition, Coaching Scholarship Programme, Girls’ Hubs and the Barclays Knight-Stokes Cup. This will include working with Programme Managers on scheduling, logistics, communications, equipment, venues and events, and ensuring programme, attendance, safeguarding and partner records are accurate and up to date.
Systems, data and ways of working
Using and maintaining programme systems and digital tools (such as Monday.com, shared drives and databases); supporting the collection and quality-checking of monitoring and evaluation data; and contributing to reports, dashboards and updates that demonstrate impact. You’ll also help improve templates, workflows and processes to make programme administration more efficient.
Partners, safeguarding and compliance
Supporting relationships with delivery partners and helping to ensure safeguarding and compliance requirements are met, including maintaining records for DBS checks, training and risk assessments.
Executive and organisational support
Providing administrative and organisational support to the Chief Executive and wider senior team, including diary management, meeting preparation, travel arrangements, communications, and general office, governance and planning support.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and digitally confident, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with a wide range of people. We recognise that people develop skills and experience in different ways, and we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement listed below.
You’re proactive and solution-focused, always looking for better ways of doing things, and comfortable working with systems, data and digital platforms to support effective decision-making and reporting. You collaborate well with others, value teamwork and build positive relationships, and adapt easily to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Above all, you’re values-driven and motivated by making a real difference through your work.
The MCC Foundation is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds, particularly those who are underrepresented in cricket and the charity sector.
We’re happy to discuss flexible working arrangements and any reasonable adjustments you may need during the recruitment process or in the role. We value lived experience alongside professional experience and believe that diverse perspectives make our work stronger.
Please submit a CV and covering letter to jobs@themccfoundation.org before Friday 6 February at 5pm GMT. Interviews may be held during this time. If you require the application information in an alternative format or need support to apply, please let us know.
