Job Title: Professional Services Network and Cloud Engineer
Reports to: Professional Services Delivery
Division: Professional Services
Location: Hybrid, on-site implementations, remote working and up to two days a week in the office as needed. Office is located at Cirrus House, 1 Berrymoor Court, Cramlington, Northumberland, NE23 7RZ. Some out of business hours may be required at times due to the nature of project work.
This role involves implementing Network, Cloud and Virtual infrastructure for clients predominantly in the North East of England but will also include UK wide project delivery at times. The successful candidate will provide technical advisory, design and installation services from conception through to implementation and handover into support services. The role is mixture of hybrid working including on site delivery and working from home or the office.
The Professional Services Network and Cloud Engineer will be operating as part of the Professional Services Team to deliver new Cloud and Network installations, upgrade projects, and cyber security solutions. This includes Microsoft 365 tenancy projects including setup, migrations and security enhancement, cloud security deployments and network solution design and implementations. A security by design mindset is imperative.
Liaising with Sales and Support Services to provide Pre & Post Sales technical advice to ensure the technical validity and information security of proposed solutions.
Providing solution design, planning, implementation and final solution testing before project sign off.
is a key part of the role.You will have responsibility for successfully delivering projects from start to finish. Understanding when to elevate any issues is also a required attribute.
Working within a team environment to contribute towards shared learning across the team including providing technical assistance and guidance to colleagues as required.
Evaluate new technologies in a planned, structured and objective manner when required.
