Report to: Quality Assurance Manager
Salary: £26,000.00 - £28,000.00
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our team at a well-established UK-based manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, and ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently on the production line.
  • Assemble, pack, or process products according to company specifications and quality standards.
  • Carry out routine quality checks and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following health and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Meet daily production targets and report any delays or faults in machinery.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions accurately.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and support other departments when required.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and performance.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not essential (full training provided).
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift materials when required.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work shift patterns, including early mornings, late evenings, or weekends, if required.
  • Experience in production and engineering components.
  • Forklift licence or experience using production machinery (where applicable).
