A leading broadcasting company in London is offering a Level 3 Production Apprenticeship that provides a unique opportunity to start a career in media. As an apprentice, you'll work within a creative production team, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to significant factual productions. Qualifications

  • Must have lived in the UK for the last 3 years.
  • Must be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a creative production team contributing to BBC Studios content.
  • Conduct research within editorial briefs using various sources.
  • Set up and maintain information systems.
  • Source and clear material for broadcast.
  • Liaise with contributors, guests, and experts.
  • Work on location and in studios.
  • Learn health and safety and compliance best practices.

Key Responsibilities and Impact
  • Work in a highly creative production team, contributing to the creation of BBC Studios content
  • Conduct accurate research within editorial briefs, using a wide range of sources and reference materials
  • Set up and maintain information systems
  • Sourcing and clearing material for broadcast
  • Liaise with contributors, guests, experts and talent
  • Work on location, in studios and across our BBC Offices
  • Learn best practices in Health & Safety, compliance and sustainability
Your Skills and Eligibility
  • Passion for broadcasting and the media industry, especially within Specialist Factual space
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude for detail and accuracy in all areas
  • Ability to gather and present information

This scheme is aimed at non‑graduates. If you have a degree and are interested in similar roles at the BBC, we recommend applying for other apprenticeship schemes.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship begins in September 2026
  • Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years prior to the start of the apprenticeship
  • Be legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship
  • Not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme, whether with the BBC or another organisation
  • No prior learning is required to apply
