Product Engineer – St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Responsibilities
  • Act as process manager/developer and manage the company’s ECN process.
  • Drive inter‑departmental communication around ECNs and report ECN KPIs.
  • Input new assemblies and parts into the ERP system.
  • Process production permits and process change notes.
  • Work with engineering and quality teams to fault‑find, set up design of experiments and testing, and improve Linx products and system reliability.
Essential Requirements
  • Process‑driven and proactive individual with an engineering background and at least 3 years’ experience in engineering design changes.
  • Experience responsible for or administering an engineering change system.
  • Experience in NPI or transfer of new products to manufacture.
  • Experience entering and maintaining engineering data on an ERP system such as Oracle.
  • Advanced user of MS Excel and macros.
  • Experience with electro‑mechanical systems and/or 3D CAD packages such as Creo or SolidWorks (desirable).
  • A strong desire to thrive in a fast‑paced, multifaceted environment with wide variety of projects.
